Amanda Verner, violaBorn in Wellington, New Zealand, violist Amanda Verner’s performances have been described by the New York Times as “alluring” and “passionate”. After pursuing a B.M. in viola performance at the Cleveland Institute of Music as a student of Jeffrey Irvine, Amanda received an Artist Diploma from the Curtis Institute of Music, where she studied with Michael Tree, Misha Amory and Roberto Diaz. In recent years, she has toured Australia, New Zealand, Asia & Europe with the Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Australian Chamber Orchestra, and Verbier Festival and Chamber Orchestras.
